Why are Cushitic people so disunited?

The only reason why the Christian Habesha are in power is because there is lack of unity among Cush speakers while Habesha share one mindset, one vision, one goal and etc thus are united. Even though, the Cushitics vastly outnumber the Habeshas. Cushitic people back in the golden days were united and flourish with empires and kingdoms while Habash led-Abyssinia was barely a state.

The question is how the hell did they fell so easily? All of sudden they lost touch with each other after the expansion of Abyssinia state in the 19th century. All of sudden, Cush speakers hate each other and love been abused by Habesha leaders.

Because people continued to exploit those divisions ever since colonialism days.

Ethiopia functioned well despite the divisions existing because not many exploited them.

Divisions deepen every time somebody exploits them. They get heal but slowly.

When a group has a lot of diversity then divisions can easily be exploited. Cushitic peoples are very diverse, more so than the Semitic Habesha.

That is why they are not united, because like TheCadaanGuy said, they have been set against each other and they also speak different languages and have sightly different cultures.

Because Kushitic people are devided along religion lines some are Muslims some are Christians and some believe pagan religions such as Waqism. Religion ties is stronger than ethnic ties in third world countries. In addition some of them were fooled to belong to other ethnic groups like Somalis who were fooled that they are Arabs by some Arabism preachers from Arabia. How would you tell a Wahabi Somali in Mogadishu or Hargeisa for example that he is Kushitic. He would see you are denying his blood ties with prophet Mohamed SAW.

Cushitic only exists in Academic books and amongst diaspora Marxists.in the annals of East African history,the first references you will find with regards to Cushitic is in the field of linguistics.cushitic people do not exist.

White, black, yellow, Asian, etc are all social constructs.

They exist because people call them. They are merely descriptor for what they see.

As long as people can reliably tell the difference between cushites and the rest then the existence of the term 'cushitic' or the similar is justified.

It is only academics that are calling us cushitic people because they have the need to distinguish us from the rest in their research. They understand the difference.

Regular people don't but let's give them the reason why they should. Our language, culture, looks, religion and etc are too different for us to be lumped into with the rest of blacks.

Kurds dont talk farsi. They speak kurdish which got 3 different dialects sorani, kumanji and pehlawani. Kurdish and farsi is like af somali and afaan oromo. However kurds from iran speak a kurdish dialect which has similarities with farsi. Bar ama baro

We r talking about Persian as a linguafranca

Kurdish and farsi almost share 80 percent of their vocabulary but they sound totally unrelated languages bc of their distant pronunciation

It doesn't mean that they r ethnically related, it has much to do with the sassanian empire

Kurds have experienced war since the 50s and by the 80s they sought protection in iran....every body in sulaymaniyah speaks farsi

Then in the 90s bc of the satellite channels they got invaded by the Iranian and turkish music/movies (kurds cant stand arabs)

All kurds go to Europe via turkey so they can understand but they share more in culture and language with the Iranians and baluchi like the nowruz festivals

All this have to do with civilization....not every amharic speaker is amhara like the amharic wallo who have oromo origin
