I don't think it is xalaal to spy on your spouse like this, but in general why would you want to spy on your loved ones, what are you worried about them doing.

I personally love small gadgets and cameras, and depending on the law of your country I would suggest using them to your advantage, especially when involved in disputes ! the world is changing fast with technology.

I wouldn't because I think the Illegal surveillance of your wife and kids inside their own home is akin to a father and husband with seriously mental health issues. Why do i have to spy on those who are closest to me? Where is the boundary? How about my parents? Should I spy on them too, to know who is their favourite child who was promised that Fadhi carbeed that I wanted to inherit so badly from them.

Btw, I do have infra-red security cameras installed in the exterior of the house because of safety and our security concerns and in particular, when I'm not in town, but installing secret cameras without the knowledge of your loved ones illustrates the breakdown of trust, respect and love between me and them. Before I reach that stage, I should better seek counselling.

It's his karma. When someone is doing some foul shit, they think their spouse is doing the dirty too. Ultimately he'll drive himself crazy.

It is 2016.kneegrow.social media monitoring and keeping tabs on internet history is all one needs.i have used this to successfully thwart off a few lurking Tyrone suspicious acitvities involving younger female relatives.they were shocked and surprised,but I make no apologies as this a religious,manly and cultural duty.


i instruct my little nephews and cousins to be my eyes,ears and noses on the streets and on social media. I saved a young male relative from joining a drugs gang.his phone gave him away.needless to say that,once again I managed to nip the the situation in the "bud".

The problem lies wherein most Somali parents are clueless about ciyaalo Suuqa tell-tale signs,slang and the many beasts who lurk on social media.

Putting a camera or two outside house is fine but inside and to spy on wife? No way.

Unloyal wife is unloyal, you ain't gonna change that. With surveillance, you might find out earlier than usual but you're still going to be heartbroken at end of the day.

Plus, when you spy on your wife, you will always have that feeling 'what if my wife cheated on me? What shall I do?' It ain't nice feeling if you ask me. Not sure you want these feelings for rest of your life.

Best thing to do is let it go. If Allah (swt) has planned for you to be cheated upon, then you will be cheated upon.
