Ban The Arabic Script In Somalia

Why do we have the Arabic script on everything Somali?
Passports, government buildings, I.D'S. Particularly everything in Somalia has Arabic written all over it.
When did having this script and its content become religious.
Arabic should only be taught in schools/dugsi. It should be limited for educational purposes.
The government stated that they'd be removing the English language in order to preserve the Somali language.
If that's the case, whats the point of preserving the Arabic script? Especially since the majority of Somalis cannot understand Arabic.
Rather we should abolish the Arabic script in terms of state building, (Not religious) If in need we seek to preserve our roots.
Arabic is on our money

Not to mention our coins
Don't give me no bullshit excuse and say Arabic is the second language.
No one I've ever met speaks Arabic, and if they did...they either grow up in the Middle East, or studied .
No Somali understands Arabic, sure...we can read, thanks to the Quran...But lets be honest, without the punctuation...its rather hard to read.
Why do we need this script? This script alone is why people question our identity.
Why not use a Somali script, and the latin script...both being in Somali, why use a foreign script?
We must start eradicating this script with great passion. If it ain't being used for religious reasons, it shouldn't be used in general.
Schools are free to teach this language, but theres no reason having it displayed in public. I wanna AF Soomali, thats all.
