OP: I noticed this in both genders across the world. When you're single, you tend to look your best seeing as you're trying to attract someone to wed, but as soon as you're a couple of years in the marriage, laziness sets in.

I don't like overweight people. The default human is fit, slim, strong and agile. I know it's their choice but they need to realise that they are not only doing a huge disservice to others such as their families or loved ones, but especially to themselves.

I like overweight people, theyre usually laid back cool people. They seem happier than their skinny counterparts. But being fat/morbidly obese is irresponsible and places an unfair burden on society, family members and the health service. Agreed.

This is absolutely true. I have been to many traditional Somali households where they encourage overeating or else you will come off as disrespectful. Somali foods, in general, can be a bit unhealthy since they use a lot of oil and sugar. If they cut that down, then there wouldn't be a lot of obese Somalis. Oh, exercise is rarely enforced in their homes.
