Changing Career , Advice Needed
Guys,
I am in a career path that I do not want to grow in. I have been doing it for 4 years now. I am now a Translation coordinator. So I basically, take documents that someone created, send it to some vendors in Europe, they translate it and send it to me. All my managers and colleagues are women. Its not man's career. The problem is that, I have invested 4 years in it and I am paid a decent wage $23.50/hr and I made $54000 with overtime. Rather than the money, its not a career path that I enjoy doing.
My question is, would you stay in a career path that you do not like because of money or just change and look for what you like even if it means going down on salary?

The secret to being succesful and hardworking is loving what you do. If your not happy with your career you will never reach success.. I would advise you to change career, obviously it's easier said than done but you get where I'm coming from I think.

Hey abaayo. Thank you for the advice. Yea, its not a career that I see myself doing for another year. Insha allah will look for something. The problem is that, I do not have education that is career focus. My Degree is general business. That mean I have to just find something and try for me to realize I like or not. I could work in a retail store, executive office, Client services to Manager in the welfare officeSusu000 wrote:Hi Sumu, long time by the way. Hope your well.

I would like to go home and become an admiral.i can't swim nor do I have a first aid kit.my clan doesn't have access to the coast.do you think this will be a problem? I am considering admiral because the market for fake sheikhs, professors, politicians and so forth is saturated.

Caghdheer already filled this role, you're out of luck. Only Caghdheers could be stupid enough to have a landlocked admiral.BaastoUnit wrote:I would like to go home and become an admiral.i can't swim nor do I have a first aid kit.my clan doesn't have access to the coast.do you think this will be a problem? What does that mean? does that HG guy refused to be tamed? Do not let your cat out of the basket. And yes, do let him know he can iron and live without you.Susu000 wrote:I've missed you too..
