My assessment of this elections season

Post by Maroodijex »

1. Somaliland has finally either matured or taken several steps backwards
2. Somaliland's traditional clan alliances is in flux state
3. Somaliland's 3 party leadership are the worse that Somaliland has to offer. Very much like the US elections, the best of the worse.

The first point, I say that because Somaliland is no longer captive to the so called "God Like" figure of worshipping "Peace" and "Recognition". Peace is the religion, Recognition is the Idol that we worshipped. If someone farts everyone jumps on "How dare you try to disturb the peace?" or "Don't do that because blabla bala ... will hurt Recognition ambitions.

The first point, could also indicate that in fact we haven't matured at all rather we took very big steps backwards back into the dark ages. Time will tell.

But I would like to Congratulate the Ciise Muuse for disturbing the nest. Folks, you don't need to be captive to the "Peace" or "Recogntion". If you feel injustice, do something about it just like the Ciise Muuse. :sland:

Second point, I say this because I don't see the usual kiss-up and blind clan loyalty that I once used to see here. I mean, firstly, look at the sad state of my Ciidagale clansmen to start with. But then again I look at any other clan and I see exact situation. The Sacad Muse clansmen are as divided as any, so are Habarjeclo and not far are Habaryoonis and Araps.

The third point, Jamal Ali Husseen may be a professional who has managed companies. But he is a rookie and it shows. I think he needs to go for Foriegn Ministry or Finance Ministry and polish his political acumen.

We have Kulmiye's Muse Biixi. Are you F**K'g kidding me?

We have Ciiro, this man couldn't even manage the Parliament, how can he manage Somaliland?

LeJ,

I am not condoning anything, specially the murder of the officer. AUN.

But I am looking beyond the murder and the reasons that have made it possible. Hadaan nabarka hoosta laga dhayin ma bogsado.

What I am saying is, the people need to wake up and collectively demand from their leadership justice and accountability. That is what is lacking.

We have a number of Gafaneyaal who hide behind the well worn-out phrases 'Don't disturb the Peace' or 'it will hurt our recognition'.

These need to be told that is not going to cut it this time. We, as citizens, demand better representation and accountability.
