Wajaale and Jigjiga

Post by hangool79 »

Why in 2016 is the last strip between kalabaydh and wajaale unpaved road? It.s freakin 10 km in this era where every habar community is building whole roads. I'snt this supposed to be Somalilands economic vein.... :|

My second discussion topic is about Jigjiga I heard the Isaaqs only have one minister in the current government, I thought we had numbers with, so whats up? does anyone know esp Jigjiga clan dynamicss..

To tell the truth Isaaq has focused on somaliland and djibouti so much that hawd region has been left behind I'm hoping in near future that changes.

Hargeisa - Kalabayd - Wajaale is not hawd sxb.. I'm left baffled how such an important road is left unfinished why every reer hebel is building tourist roads and other personal roads.

Oh I skipped your first question but the answer is the silaanyo administration has failed short on the project because ethiopia spent millions and had chinese build the road from jigjiga to wajaale so current administration was to build kalaybadh to wajaale it's mostly finished only the wajaale part is left to be finished.

Silaanyo gov get's too much criticism I don't get why you would say that, no clan has benefited more from him than sacad muuse, his time is almost up and if it wasn't for the burco - ceerigaavo road he has not done much for his folks in the east. The government has sponsered the 3/4 great road projects going on in the country. When the ciidagale community sparked the road building the government contributed 5 km or 10 km, they did the same for the Arap, and have probably contribted substantially to the Burco- Ceeri road, for the last one Dawga Cad SM project I don't know whether the government has helped, this road goes through rocky landscape and is gonna be quite long, it's the least publicised road project I have no idea how far they have come, last I heard they are in the mountain rangeland of Gabiley.

The silaanyo administration has done a lot when it's comes to helping out with road construction but this wajaale road is part berbera corridor project its high priority that's all I'm saying.

If Berbera corridor is not a highway connecting berbera To diredawa directly , its useless.

Looking at theyusuf list it seems Silaanyo adm has done much more  so far SL has taken good steps, Riyaale administration 2003 - 2010 introduced multiparty and presidential elections, Silaanyo administration 2010 - has taken up the torch beefed up the budget and focused on infrastructre in particular roads.

theyusuf a highway stretching from berbera to wajaale would cost at least 2 Somaliland budgets iy's insane money, since we do not have access to such real investment capital we need to be realistic and perhaps diaspora should chip in... but I don't think a single somali community has managed to fund something of that size, (600 - 700 mill USD )

The highway will be funded by third partners, not Ethiopia or Somaliland midna.

3/4 by the government....lool ....That is a whole load of horse shit sxb.

this below information is from the official website of Somaliland Roads Development Agency listing all road projects, and the names and the amount the government and each organisation or individual contribution to the road projects:

- Kalabaidh—Togwajale Road

The 19km long Kalabaidh-Togwajale road was the only unpaved section of Berbera Corridor route which links Berbera port to Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

Gov 10 km----------Community 9 km

- The Dawga-Cad Road

This project is for upgrading of 125km road from earth to bitumen standard including culverts and bridges.

Gov 2 km --- Community 5km

- Burao - Oodweyne Road

This project is for upgrading of 180km road from earth to bitumen standard including culverts and bridges.

Gov 5 KM -- Community 10 Km.

The Hargeisa-Salahlay Road

This project is for upgrading of 58 km road from earth to bitumen standard including culverts and bridges.

Gov 5 Km-----Community 13 Km.

- Burao — Erigavo Road

The Ina- afmadoobe- Erigavo Earth road (300kms) links Ina- Afmadoobe (60km) east of Buroa Togdheer region to Erigavo capital city of Sanaag region.

Gove 100 km ----- Community 200 KM

http://somalilandroads.com/Projects/Index#

the ratio looks the opposite, 3/4 by the communities of Somaliland ,daljoog ama qurbajoog.

As of the BS that Sacad muuse have benefited the most from silanyo, thats not true, most of the projects made either by the private sector or International NGOs who have preferences to hargeisa, gabily or berbera based on fixed population size where their projects will reach, the stability and also the grade system for each region district . this grade system is made by Somaliland government based on other factors like security, tax revenues,population..etc.

The road is paved. It is one of the best roads.

As for the ministers say Alhamdulilah that there is 1 or 2 Idoor ministers. The day that we have 0 is when we say Alhamdulilahi Rabi Calamiin.

In Ethio it's best that you have few or zero unless your the ones pulling all the Federal strings like present TPLF.

Kilil ministers ministers maha, they are mercenary agents like Barre's Bantus and Abbo. Shaqoyinka xun ba lo dira sida reer hebel barakiciiya, reer hebel so laya, reer hebel waxan uu geya ama enforce it all while TPLF wears his white shirt and tie.

Wax yabo badan ba jira oon sheegin lakin right time comes, slowly going to release them.

Maanta intas ban idin sheegaya.

Example

Habesha

Image

Somali

Image

Somalida in kasto loo dhibay jegooyin symbolic ah and they do all the xamaal, killing, cleaning, concealing hadana no rewards.

The most senior Somali official is worth no more than $100,00 even not close but let's say that.

But average TPLF senior is worth over $120 million. People like Azeb, Berhane, Abay Teshay, Samuel Tedasse, Seyoum and Sebhat just to name few already surpassed the billion.

Then you have hundreds of others who are kept away from public eye all in white shirts making millions especially from Somalis. Some are faceless while some only show up in say...EU-Africa trade summit (example).

Marka it's good that very few are doormats for the real man making killing living.

Real example (soo ogada)

Image
Who is he? What does he do? Why does his mission should concern you?

When I talk about Ethio, I never went to be minister/dabaqodhi or some agent. I want to be like the guy above.

wajaale - kalabayd unpaved part was actaully 10 km in spatial measurement using google earth, for real length you might wanna add 10 - 15 % because of terrain and curvatures.

salahley road was paved 27 km of 65 km already back in 2014, out of the great road projects it's the one closes to finish but also the shortest.

dawga cad is probably closer to 140 - 150 km, the website was ok but they got the facts a bit messed up, Golis mountain range is east, then meant probably Almis mountain, are you sure only 7 km is finished??
