Just goes to show how deeply ingrained those names are in our communities that some of us cough me cough confuse them with Somali names. Farax, however, may just be as widespread as the name Sofia/Safiya and Sara/Zara/Sahro is in many cultures. So I wouldn't say that is it only an Arab name.
