I laughed for a good ten minutes when my uncle suggested we drink Vimto to lessen mild altitude sickness in Addis Ababa. According to him VImto would increase our blood and make us strong.

They think this because Vimto is the same colour as blood, so they think it must surely increase it directly when ingested.
