This maybe a sensetive question. We know the snm gave birth to the current state of somaliland including the army. But at its strongest pont yaa xoog badan, the snm or current sl army.

No comparison. SNM was far superior in vision, strategy, tactics, professionalism, determination, purpose and unity.

It's not how many guns you have but how many balls you have.

No one knows current army chief let alone average soldiers but we all know the names of SNM and when we hear their make us feel invisible like a kid watching superman or Spiderman.

Xooq means numbers and arms. He didn't ask about fighting prowess, morale or bravery. He asked about xoog. No doubt Somaliland military has more xoog than the SNM did because it has more men and more arms.

Also the Somaliland military hasn't been tested yet in a real war. So to judge their bravery or fighting ability when they haven't fought yet isn't fair. I'm sure there many just as brave as Lixle, Koodbuur, Hagar-waafi and Axmed Dhagax in the army right now and just haven't had the opportunity to show their big balls.

What a stupid statement. Why should 1991 be a stick yard for a militarily movement strengths, in that case,
SNM captured Burco & most of Hargiesa in 88 before any other military movement which makes it the most powerful.
