Why Africans blame the imperialist for their problems

Post by X.Playa »

They never blame their backward culture, their short self serving mentality. Their religion or any other self originating cause. Even Somalis , in particulars the non-Somalilanders always cry and whine , Ingiriis this Ingiriis that, Gaal this Gaal that. The irony is most of the South and Non-Somalilanders never blame their backwardness on the Italians or the Ethiopians masters, the only time they squeal about imperialist its always the Brits.

Iam reading Race Against Time ( the calamity of AIDS in Africa) by Stephen Lewis and Looting Africa by Patrick Bond. The former writer recounts an incident when he was the head of the UN Chairperson of Africa , during an special session for Africa in 1986, the world discussed the problems facing Africa , the most backward continent on earth and the most backward humans on earth. When the session was over in a week, and all non-African members agreed on proposals , the Africans at last raised their hand and the Senegalese African representative ( Ibrahim Fall) told Lewis that they didn't agree on anything unless the word " colonialist" is added to the text. Finally after a long negotiating a wording " which blames the colonialist for Africa's plight" was added. That word alone made the apes and its envoys agree on the text, Ibrahim Fall was beaming once the term " colonialist" was added to the text.

You are right that we Africans are ultimately have ourselves and our forefathers for selling our behinds for cheap. We have always been very weak at defending and maintaining our cultures, religions, politics etc. We always have been easy preys for foreigners to infiltrate and dominate us by using every trick in the book. However, now that many, if not most of us, can read and write and have access to history and science like none of our forefathers had, we should truly rise up.

1.Economically - we have to invest ourselvse starting locally. For instance, instead of going to that Chinese place for lunch/dinner support your own people. If there aren't any nearby, then choose another African or melanoid reastaurant.

2. Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT, date, marry or fornicate with other nationalities than your own, in case you can't find any suitable stick to a melanated person. Going around with other non-melanated (black) people will only cause confusion and ultimately division and diversion from achieving the goals of economic and political emancipation.

3. Keep religion PRIVATE. Learn also that every other group always align ethnically and by color. They will throw religion at gullibale Africans when convinient. Learn to protect and take a stance for people who are opressed and dominated by the current system and keep your religious beliefs PRITVATE.

4. Do NOT vote (for diaspora) nationally! Only vote locally or when you as a group can lobby and/or buy the votes which will uphold/implement your interests.

5. Always study history! You have to know it to know how we ended up in the system we're in and thus how it can be changed.

Today I saw that Zoomaliland's elite were praying to God for rain instead of implementing real solutions that could tackle the underlying problem.

Africans not only suffer from inferiority complex, they're weak mentally and they're superstitious.

Simple because most of Africa's problem is directly related to imperialism.

The Asians say hello. In fact, the humiliation of WWII and the opium wars is what has driven the East Asians into building their nations and economies. African booty scratchers would sell their own mothers in a heartbeat for a few crumbs.

Don't compare to Asians since they were ALLOWED to export goods to Western nations and thus build/create industries, tell me ONE African nation ALLOWED to do so? Instead we face all types of embargos. Our mistake is we should have been focusing the trade on our own nations first, then our neighbours and the rest can give the crumbs...

Eternal and universal.. Ma wixii Fransiisku kugu akhriyeen baa?

Nomads and farmers can pray and ask God for rain but an elected official that doesn't implement basic solutions to the recurring problem is simply running away from the issue by pushing the responsibility on God.
