i have watched it, i was just as furious! but that case wasnt as crystal clear as this one, the brother WASNT EVEN IN NYC at the time of the murder! he got 13 alibis and they've never contacted any of these ppl before they charged him :wtf: no dna, murder weapon or any other kind of evidence except these two ppl smh. as for steven avery's case ofcaurse his frist coviction was a disgrace!, the second conviction? well, i amnt 100% if he is innocent but this is what i know, frist the state didnt prove beyond reasonable doubt, second, its hard to believe he would commit a murder when he was about to win a whopping 36 million law suit nd when he is fully aware the consequence of murder. third, i do not believe that challenged kid. ps they planted evidence to framed him.

First requirement of Jim Crow Laws: Keep the population of Hispanic and African Americans down. That means sending many of the young men from these communities to prison. Who cares about justice since entire America is based on injustice. It is about maintaining population control. The white people don't want to have many kids, but at the same time don't want to lose majority.

Second requirement of Jim Crow Laws: Keep filling the prisons. This is an industry that needs to make money. Just like pharmaceutical, 'health' insurance, tobacco, and arms industry, prison lobby is as powerful as any other. That requires passing laws that are specific to certain neighborhoods - which are mostly populated by minorities - and making sure those rules are not applicable to mostly white neighborhoods. Crack cocaine laws vs white cocaine laws do ring a bell here.

Third requirement: Keep the joke jury system in place. A black or a Hispanic defendant can find himself (or herself) judged by all white racist jury, and district attorneys make sure that the jury selection is one that gives them a conviction. If the defendant does not have a good lawyer, he (or she) is already convicted before the trial even starts.
.
.

The list is long but that is the reality of Jim Crow laws.

p.s. The wive of that wrongfully convicted man is amazing. She raised those 2 kids and believed her husband and worked tirelessly to make sure he did not lose hope.

Thanks to the Jewish lawyers in that non-profit group who persistently appealed on that case and never gave up. And many thanks to the black district attorney who set that young man free. She came from the same neighborhood as he has and had the context of what is like to be from there. Sometimes miracles happen, and despite the lengthy process, justice was finally served by freeing that innocent man.

Fyi, try to visit the prisons and see the number of young Somali men in there. You will be shocked to learn that many of them were thrown to jail without a proper legal representation.

That prosecutor was the lowest of the low.He was a sexual predator, preying on women that were been charged for petty crimes under his watch. They even knew at the time of Avery's case but they suppressed it.
