Someone told me $5,000 can get you a well in SL but I wasn't sure how accurate this information was.
Does anyone know?

Depends on the depth, rock type and whether a casing (well lining) is to be used.
Most wells in northern Somalia are hand dug, shallow brackish water wells.
There is good quality water in the aquifers, however, you'll need to drill to depths of over a km.
Conoco identified a subterranean river flowing from the Ethiopian highlands through the Nugaal valley and into the Indian ocean.

Cool guys.
I did bit of research and says in SL rig operators charge $100-$120 per meter.
Wells can reach water anything from 3 meters to 900 meters.
So that means anything from $300 to $90,000.
But most wells cost $5k to $12k

What a rubbish video.
All it shows is a drilling mud out put pipe.
Where is the drill or the well?
PS I definitely won't be hiring them.
