So I was watching a string of Malcolm x speeches and interviews (amazing figure, AUN)
And he mentioned Somaliland in a 1960 speech, watch from @ 1:14:17

Not surprised. He was very interested in colonialism and all that jazz. You can tell if you read his autobio. I think he met a few African leaders back then as well. Can't remember the specific ones.

Yes he went to Africa & Mecca. In the same clip I posted @ 00:43:00

He talks about how Africans in Africa got independence faster than them and how far they come in self respect & recognition.

I wish people in the empty BLM org look up to him instead of crying 24/7. If he was alive today he'd .....

somaliland was not only the north or former british somaliland but all somali peoples land.. in english language even the south of somalia was called italian Somaliland and north british somaliland.. here the video 1950 when british ay ka baxeen south.. listen what the reporter call south somaliya.
