Only if somaliland could form a confederate state between it and ddsi, I think that would be better partnership than zoomalia.

DDSI without caqdheer hegemony as an independent entity could be a very valuable partner for us

Walee waa hadal nin weyn......Neither of those scenarios will come fruition in our life times. I don't want to hijack the brother's thread but I think the OGs have been waging a costly war that could have been won easily. If you go back in history when ONLF won the elections in early 1990s, the sticking points between the two powerful entities at the time, TPLF and ONLF, was not really that much. Things could have resolved peacefully and TPLF wanted OGs more than the OGs wanted them. Somalis could have literally dictated the policies in Addis with the Tigree.

Betrayal by Dhabayco and other laangaabs on one side and TPLF/EPLF on the other.

The Tigreans and Eritreans at the behest of the US/UK/France etc double crossed the Somali's.
What most people can't seem to understand, because of the priority of qabilism,is that the Somali peoples have powerful enemies.
A united Somalia from Bale/Amhara mts to the sea would be a natural regional superpower. :)
