Why doesn't somaliland become a overseas dependency or territory of a major world power like china or russia, then we get to use their currencies and they build miltary bases within the country and extract the oil in berbera and nuugal as well as industrialise the nation.

Obviously there are some legal issues and somalia in the way but imagine that, more business opening up with the country, droughts can be quickly dealt with and on our stategic location on the gulf of berbera.
