Saylaci is cool but SLAND gov sucks.
It's almost become an annual event with drought
but still no serious action to prevent or quickly tackle the issue.

Bila calyk what would have happen if Saudi Arabia & UAE didn't sends us aid?

The problem is information is not being dispensed.

There have to be statistics, how many families are in need in every district? Internally and externally how much was raised?

And info and pic on the distribution in every district so we know these people received what they need.

If not, people will not continue to giving funds towards the drought. When you are certain, you will have no problem giving to the cause.

The media, government,NGO's and the public must work hand in hand.

It was Silanyo's gov't that told the int'l community at the London Conference that SL is ahead of Somalia and can feed itself.

That SL does not need Humanitarian Aid, and needs only Developmental aid.

Which is why the Somaliland Development Fund was established.

After all the bragging and bravado; It's time to literally put our money where our mouth is

Why are the local doctors and medical students not helping towards the cause thus is an humanitarian emergency doctors should be playing there part

caasha I know this is really sad, it breaks my heart seeing this picture, we are after all the same people. If I'm correct the drought is felt most in northern marodi jeex, gabiley, awdal, it's close but still far away, especially northern marodi jex there are no roads hence little information reach, we do not know the worst affected tuulos, some say those who are most quiet suffer most, (have no money to call, or no relatives in the west)

Insha allah when Dawga cad roads is completed northern marodi jex will have improved life quality, goods can come faster, etc they will become part of the economy-

If horn cable can reach these places so can the SL govt and aid orgs that's hog wash and you know it

Saylaci is very naive and soft guy. He has been in power since 2010 and he never once told the Gov that upper Awdal needs a well or even a road.

The drought exposed him and the whole failure of the government. To have natural disaster is one thing but to have no access at all is another.

If Djibouti didn't deliver aid via Lowyacado, many people would have perished by now.

He is like the Hawiye sitting in Xamar under AMISOM.
