I have no sympathy for old men who took a voyage with $5000 while they could have done business. This is not accident but intentional suicide. I feel sorry for their mother.

Were all 400, Somali? I have yet to see a reputable source, all I have heard is hearsay from Somalis on twitter. I need accurate reporting instead of gossip.

Somali media reports say that rescue workers have only managed to save 29 passengers from the waters after the shocking incident.
Over 400 migrants are thought to have drowned, the Somali ambassador in Egypt told BBC Arabic."

RIght cause hashtag activism is doing something...Just saw this video and they are saying these are the survivors of the boat where 400 Somalis died leaving #Egypt to #Italy. No media coverage. No Government action. No International community action. No one cares because we don't care about ourselves??? I care, do you care? Do something today. Open your heart. Say a prayer. Come together. Work together. #StopSomaliMigration

Extremely sad! Innalilahi wa ina ilehi raajicuun. Every soul shall and will taste death 1 day.
Our message to to the tahriibis looking for a "better life":
The european dream of earning riches is nothing but a fantasy, STAY in your country, STUDY in your country and LIVE in your country. It is better to live amongst your people and die a honourable death amongst your people, then to die in the middle of nowhere.
Beneath your lands contains vast untapped amount of recources which Allah has granted us mashaalah alhamdulilah...make use of it. Ofcourse it is useless if it stays underground unused, but extraction requires knowledge and a particular set of skills, which we must attain.
Those yearning to come to Europe, and the West in general, ask the somalis that have lived in the west for decades and asks them the reality of life in Europe. They now call the world a small global village and the globe has never been connected as it is now, (this is directed towards the future young tahriibis who are contemplating making the journey) DO NOT let social media deceive you, the next time you see your relatives/friends/fellow somalis in Europe seemingly enjoying their life and seemingly thriving in Europe it is FAKE, they are deceiving you. They are concealing so much negatives but only showing of their postives. ANYONE can be succesful WHEREVER they are, in fact you've got more chance of succeeding in your nation than in Italy Turin. Waa ku baryaaa wadankaa iska joog, wadanankana jeclow.
If everyone flees our nation, who do you think is there to keep watch of our country? The UN?

Whats wrong with these skinnes? Already 30,000 dead in the last 3 years according to Italian officials yet they are still doing this when they know what the consequence will be. It's no longer travelling happily ever to Europe but committing a suicide in the sea.

Re: The survivors of the boat were 400 Somali's Died
Do not waste your time trying to convince Somalis. My 20 years old brother has everything that life has to offer in Kenya. Peace, school, food, shelter and Shopping. He has Iphone 5 too. I could not convince him that, he is missing nothing. He still thinks his life is stack and might take a voyage to Libya through South Sudan and Foot for 2 weeks to reach Libya then into the promiseland of luxury and enjoyable life. I careless whether he reaches there or die on the way. They do not listen and they do not care what you say or know. Those kids paid $5000 each to come that boat plus their pocket money. They are not some poor kids running away on foot. They were well off from middle class families who just want to fulfill their dreams. One brought his 8 months pregnant wife and he paid $10,000 for both of them. He could have started a middle level business in Burco with that amount and live happily. He chose not to. So I respect people's decision and I do not regret for them if what they knew catches up with them. Thousands of Somalis drowned in that Water before and they knew their names. That did not detour them. You think some comment in Facebook will detour them?Cismaanbaqle wrote:Extremely sad! Innalilahi wa ina ilehi raajicuun. Every soul shall and will taste death 1 day.

Re: The survivors of the boat were 400 Somali's Died
What I have observed of Somalis here, is that they watch too much Hollywood iyo filim Hindi that make Europe seem like an earthly Jannah. They don't know the true reality that Africa is by far greater and much more stress free. They are brainwashed and will do anything to reach these countries, its these damn media outlets and internet that I blame for the death of these people, and dumb diaspora who flash their apparel to the poor when they reach back home.
