Reer Burco Family Members Sends Condolences To Ship Wreckage Victims.

Post by JSL3000 »

very tragic news for the whole horn of africa and to all dead AUN

Up to almost 60 out of almost 500 victims was from somaliland the rest from somalia, eritrea, and ethiopia.

raising concern of youth illegal emigration is very important we have to find a solution I recommend two years mandatory military service for the youth from 16-18 to build their disciple and any college grads two years mandatory military service but with pay, it will also included community service such as cleaning the city of garbage, planting trees, rural labor, and patching up roads well that's my intiative if i was in office because i know are youth are our biggest asset.

Allahu naxariisto

It is really painful to look at them, facebook has in someways transcended the limits of thought, what is near and what is far away.
Most of us have a young cousin or family member on fb who's less fortunate then us lucky diaspora that came to the west in the 80s, 90s.
I see the pictures of these poor souls on fb, their eyes, their dreamy eyes, they had dreams and hope for the future.

Inna Lilah wa inna ilaahi rajicuun, to Allah we belong.

I wish we could put more effort into helping our people, Abaarso tech is a good initiative but we need something broader, not to mention help creating opportunities down there.

From gold and gems in Gabiley to oil and gas in gaaroodiga iyo odweyne we have so much resources in our country. A 800 km coastline,
2 million livestock, unused farmland, a port, a modern airport, what more do we really need?

what do you expect the local residents to stay in an area of 89% unemployment where job aversion is traditionally rooted.

It could be 98 % for that matter, something is rotten and wrong in our society no doubt about that.

From what I understand these youths where not the poorest, they just had dreams and hope, but that is not really an excuse to put yourself through such a hazardious journey.

Soomalis are beyond hopless individuals, you do not see libyans escaping their land like this
