I have closer connections to Dacdheer than Eega as I am Makaahiil and literally my clan is less than 50 KM away from Dacdheer in Miir Khaliifo...So far the Liyuu lost one single soldier..All of them, the Liyuu soldiers, have internet-connected cell phones and they are posting everything in Facebook...Trust me on this, you don't want to mess with these guys....

Bro, Dac Dheer is near Galaadi and it is a small tuulo where Majeerteen, Mareexaan, and Saleebaan of Habar-Gidir intersect and live together. Doc Dheer is part of Doollo, Wardheer region and the Liyuu has the right to enforce the laws of the land with the exception of harming civilians.

Sorry to say but Guhad doesn't know anything about Ethiopia. I laughed so hard reading his comment especially Liyu having INTERNET access in the middle of nowhere.

Even the developed cities in the Highlands struggle accessing internet. This is basic knowledge. Ethiopia has the worst internet and telephone coverage in the whole region.

All communications come under the government-owned provider, Ethio Telecom, which has unilateral control over the telecom industry.

Ethiopia's internet penetration is only 3.7 percent (as of 2016) where as Kenya it's almost 70% and even South Sudan has better internet.

Somalia has one of the highest penetrations in the 70%-80% (mobile) and Somaliland more or less the same where everyone uses ZAAD/World Remit.

When people in Ethiopia want to make phone call especially Somali Region, which the Government choked for strategic reasons, they cross into Somalia or Somaliland to make a basic phone call.

It's clear Guhad never left southern Somalia.

So if anyone was uploading anything to FB, it would be those in Somalia not Ethiopia with mere 3.7% internet coverage and even forget curfew Somali Kilil, Gambella and Afar.

In Ethiopia you could be waiting weeks just to get a sim-card while in Somaliland/Somalia, telecoms hand it freely at the airports.
