In the UK, there's a shortage of donors from BME communities for both of these things. It's a no-brainer. If you needed blood, you would take it without thinking twice. Same with organs. Are we immune to illness? Our people are dying unnecessarily because of the shortage. I am on the organ donor register and bone marrow as well. I tried to donate blood but my veins are shite. As far as I know, it is halal to do these things.

Come on people. Sign up. It's not difficult - at least in the UK. It also doesn't take much time - for blood donation anyway.
