Again it is always better to keep your sanity at all times despite the difficulties . The "jareer" are not there for their interest . Amisom is an African response to an African problem . The instability in Somalia affects the whole region , that's why the African Union has decided to take the lead with the support of the international community . Now the fact that Somalis are better placed to solve this problem has never been in doubt , the question remained when can they do it ? Obviously when they build a certain capacity . Now what could have been the consequences if Africa and the world had just waited for Somalia to build that capacity and done nothing ? In my opinion , al shabaab would have gained more power which would have made the attempt to beat them even more difficult . So somalia should always remain grateful for the contribution of its African partners which no doubt further improve the quality of the effort it is now going to have to shoulder by itself .
