because marriage is full on commitment in every facet of life. You can't half ass your way in marriage, all hands on deck.

Also marriage is suppose work for both and bring best out of couples, somehow people never got that memo, so they think it's fine to burden each other.

When those two invaluable aspects go out of the window, then its only about time when the whole thing crumbles down on each other which in the process have this severe behavioural impact on the children as well....A vicious cycle
