Wixii ugu darneed when I had my first appointment with my previous psychiatrist. He asked me where I was from. I was like i'm Somali. He's like which part. I said Somaliland. Kulaha which part again. I'm like Hargeisa. Kulaha he has been there to train some nurses or something. Walahi my mouth was on the floor. He was Bangladeshi I think. I will never forget that!.

Reer Waqooyis, soo gala
I am finding that a lot of people know about Somaliland these days. It's mainly those that have come into contact with Landers e..g they might have friends who are Landers. Are you guys finding the same thing? It shows that Landers are saying Somaliland instead of Somalia.

Somalilanders are not the only ones that tell people about sl. Most of that credit goes to ina worldwideweb iyo habar guugal.

I say Somalia when I can't be bothered to explain and I think a lot of other Reer Waqooyis do and that lessens the number of potential people who could know about it. Don't know if that makes sense.mahoka wrote:Lot of people know about Somaliland, most of my teachers and professors knew /had am idea of Somaliland. The crazy think about that above statement is that I have seen Somalis on day release from one of those nut farms in London threatening people just like you did. They even carry papers and will show you to prove that, after they kill you, the boys in blue will kindly escort them back to the farm like nothing happened

That's bs man. Never heard of anything like that before.
A lot of inpatients do get let out on day release though or even for more than one day so like a weekend. I think the only ones that don't get let out are those in intensive care like high risk suicidal patients. What paper is this? I've never been let out on day release so don't know. I was allowed to go to the supermarket etc. though. Boys in blue were always outside the hospital. Mostly bringing back patients that had run away.
Having a mental illness doesn't necessarily mean you won't go to prison though. It depends on whether you have mental capacity etc. For example, I have capacity so if I killed someone they might give me a shorter sentence but i'd still do the time (I think).
Oh I forgot, there was a separate building for the violent people who had committed crimes etc. iyo a significant proportion of inmates in prisons have a MI. What does that tell you? A lot of them wouldn't be in there if they were getting treated for their mental illness but govt. don't give a shit cos these people tend to be poor, BME etc.
