They do have a driving license, but I don't know if it looks like that. Maybe a new version? The one I saw did not look like that.

But believe me you NEED a license, because of Shabaab and what not, it helps with controlling illegal stuff. As always corruption spoils everything. So sometimes if you pay money you get away, but you'll be paying quiet a lot of people money!

I am a believer that Somalia today is achieving more developments than many other countries, but because of the lack of government in the previous 2 decades, and the failed status that was associated with us in the past, these developments are hidden.

Positive perception means increased business, aid, and access to foreign markets and capital. We, therefore, need to emphasize them!!

The 'progress ' I personally wish the most to see, is of a more symbolic significance. What I would love to see more than anything else, is us, Skinnies, forming long lineups at the Department of Vehicles, patiently, waiting to pay fines for traffic violations.

I remember some rookie askar tried to fleece me for having a uk licence, when his supervisor saw my car he walked over and hit him hard, lmao. The rookie was like "konton dollar aa ka qadanlahaa!!" and his supervisor is like "war soco babuurkaan mataqaanta"

It's nice to see but what I noticed looking through my mums old documents, drivers license, university card, ID card, was that "magaca hooyada" was always a part of the info. My uncle was there recently to rebuild his house and and he had an ownership ID done for the house, that ID also included" magaca hooyada" So why is it missing in this drivers license ?
