Why do some religious Somalis identify as Arab?

I have 2 religious uncles who for some reason idmetify as arab and somali. Is this a common thing for Somalis?
Is this related to the clan system and how Arab cultire is past down to the father line

uuh , wtf are you talking about why dont u ask them and put down this mans picture. clan system go to scotland or japan .
