Why do Xalimos stare so intensely

I've encountered an interesting phenomenon which I herey dub the xalimos stare. I do not believe this is common in other cultures. So why do they stare so much? This is especially observarble with fob xalimos.

And no I do not consider myself to be particularly handsome nor in wanton of this.

Naa on the real It's a somali phenomenon staring back home and here.. I personally don't I zone out when I'm on road I have walked past my family members without a second glance

Yes aaisha I know about the general Somali stare how some faraxs and xalimos just have to eyeball another somali in the streets, some even get really exited about seeing a farax on TV

But this is different, it's like a scream for - please initiate a talk, very long, direct stares, ( I just dont understand the nerve to do this to a grown man, where do they get the bravery from) And to be honest its not something I find sexy, it almost looks desperate.

Oh and I forgot to add, yes I too zone out, but this is visibile even in the corner sight

It's part of the Somali culture.

Also in the west, there aren't as many Somalis as there are for example Asians. So they tend to stare when they see a fellow Somali. Another thing is that most single Somali females of marrying age are kind of fed up that they do not see enough of us Faaraxs around, and many are fed up that they don't get approached. So put all of these things together and you get the stare.

Funny thing is that I can bet you any money that if you did try to start a conversation, about 90% of them would act weird or even try acting hard to get. The confusion is real with our peeps
