That said, many Somali males who use to chew khat regularly have either completely stopped or chew once in a while.others save to up to chew on their holidays.with the khat ban and the changes in benefit laws combined, we are witnessing positive changes to the lifestyle of former chronic Khan addicts and layabouts.no drug can be completely eradicated,though,however khat will be a be thing of the past in 15 years.the new generation will have no use for it.i am actually more concerned about the high levels of cannabis usage in the Somali community these days.
