Buying UK Property as a Foreigner

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

How does the Council home system work? Do you get a voucher as a landlord to rent to low income residents? Is it paid directly to the landlord? Does the tenant have to pay a portion to you as the landlord?

How is Sheffield? I see that it has a large university and in the US its a goldmine to own rental property near a university.

If you are going there you should know UK law is very much pro tenant. If shit his the fan it's most likely that it will land squarely on your head. Of course there are agencies you can pay to manage your property.

I've never been to Sheffield so can't comment but I did read an article that put Southampton (another university town) as having the best renting return for landlords.

It's only London that's extortionate when it comes to buying properties. Sounds like a good plan

If you wanna spend your time walking up hills go with Sheffield good luck but try places like Manchester Birmingham and Leicester. You will get good houses on the cheap AW. Invest in the UK soild building not that plywood bullocks yall have going on there and very pretty if they are Victorian and edwardian townhouses.

Adeer I would say go for London. Meel magaala madaxda ka fiican ma jirto. Yes house prices are high but rent is also increasing at a very high rate. If you buy now the money you get from rent will double within 5 years and you will get your full investment back with profit. But it really depends on your budget.
Sheffield somaalida kuma badna waa wada Cadaan cunsurinimo ka buuxda.
Lakiin Birmingham iyo London iyo Leicester iyo Bristol ayeey Soomalida aad ugu badan yihiin. Magaaloyinka kale shaqo la'an ba ka jirto waxeey dad u soo yaacayaan magaala madaxda.
