My cousin in Atlanta recently gave birth to a baby out wedlock a few weeks ago, the babys father wasnt there at the hospital. Everyone thought she was just getting fatter for momths. We didnt know she was pregnant untill she admitted that she got pregnant by her African american "Friends with benefit" or fuckbuddy and he didnt wear a condom. We found out that also that he doesnt want anything to do with her. It seems like many Ethiopian and Somali women I kmow in my area fall for African american men, and most of these relationships ended either with the African american man cheating or the woman getting pregnant and the African americna man leaving her for another woman. This is common in the dysfunctional African american community, but not common in East African communities, where family is valued. We are allowing our sisters to be exposed to the negatice aspects of African american culture. Ive never dated African American men because of this, I only date white, arab or Somali men. Most African American men date East African women due to self hatred. I dont know why our sisters are dating below their standards. Id much rather have Somali women marry west African or Arab men.
