There was no massacre inside Togdheer. The Liyu Police harassed a few locals in a border town called Balidhiig and the governor of Togdheer instantly sent troops to the town and the Liyu fled. They can only kill innocent women and children.

However, Gaashaamo is under Ethiopian jurisdiction (for now..) and the idea that the foreign minister of Ethiopia would apologize for a crime committed inside his country during a press conference in another country is ludicrous. However, there was talks behind close doors and my apti (the current aviation minister of SL) who hails from that region was among the ministers who sat down with the Ethiopian delegation.
