Love Poem: Suaad would disagree with me, My heart suffers pain

Summary:
It is related that Kaeb bin Zuhiar the poet, who lived both Pagan period and from the very beginning of Islam. When his brother embraced the new religious he triggered his force lively tongue to insult and satirize the Muslims and prophet, but when he came to apologize and has said this warming rhetorical poem, the prophet forgave him about his sin and allowed him to be wrapped by his gown.
There is more similarity at the poem to describe very precisely and scrupulously the events and the circumstances or environmental factors as well as the camel and the woman who he loved as a habit of the Jahili poets of the period preceded the Islam advent to start their poems by lovely poetry.

1-بـانَتْ سُـعادُ فَـقَلْبي اليَوْمَ مَتْبولُ* * مُـتَـيَّمٌ إثْـرَها لـم يُـفَدْ مَـكْبولُ
Suaad would disagree with me, what could I do?
My heart suffers pain, captured by her show.

2-وَمَـا سُـعَادُ غَـداةَ البَيْن إِذْ رَحَلوا* * إِلاّ أَغَـنُّ غضيضُ الطَّرْفِ مَكْحُولُ
The darkened early morning of their departure,
Not only saddens me but also her.
She twinkled to whom suffering her love.
By those black stained beautiful eyes of deer.
3-هَـيْـفاءُ مُـقْبِلَةً عَـجْزاءُ مُـدْبِرَةً * * لا يُـشْتَكى قِـصَرٌ مِـنها ولا طُولُ
Svelte at front plumped at rump, if you would guess her.
Her figure is neither stumpy nor tall will admire you Sir.
4-تَجْلُو عَوارِضَ ذي ظَلْمٍ إذا ابْتَسَمَتْ ** * كـأنَّـهُ مُـنْـهَلٌ بـالرَّاحِ مَـعْلُولُ
She reveals her bicuspids teeth when she smiles.
As if this mouth was washed by wine twice.
In order to sweet her mouth into spreading redolent fragrance.
5-شُـجَّتْ بِـذي شَـبَمٍ مِنْ ماءِ مَعْنِيةٍ** * صـافٍ بأَبْطَحَ أضْحَى وهو مشمول
Hence be mixed with cold pure water of certain spring.
Of their valley which refracts the wind of north.
6-َـنْفِي الـرِّياحُ القَذَى عَنْهُ وأفْرَطُه** * مِـنْ صَـوْبِ سـارِيَةٍ بِيضٌ يَعالِيلُ
Whence be awakened as much as the winds blow upon.
Of how much the white cloud swept both her face and this valley too.
7-أكْـرِمْ بِـها خُـلَّةً لـوْ أنها صدقت*** مَـوْعودَها أَو ْلَوَ أَنَِّ النُّصْحَ مَقْبولُ
What great honor that friendship is! If only she keeps her promise.
Or the advice is acceptable by her, that I wish.
8-لـكِنَّها خُـلَّةٌ قَـدْ سِـيطَ مِنْ دَمِها*** فَـجْـعٌ ووَلَـعٌ وإِخْـلافٌ وتَـبْديلُ
But it is the friendship that scourges from itself misfortunate luck.
It Comprehends all variance of catastrophic upset passionate shock.
9- فـما تَـدومُ عَـلَى حـالٍ تكونُ بِها** * كَـما تَـلَوَّنُ فـي أثْـوابِها الـغُولُ
Changeable is, not to be settled at one colour or phase.
As if the goblin changes its dress colour occasionally.
10- ولا تَـمَسَّكُ بـالعَهْدِ الـذي زَعَمْتْ * * إلاَّ كَـما يُـمْسِكُ الـماءَ الـغَرابِيلُ
And she doesn't keep the promise which she pretends.
As if the sieve couldn't save the water at all.
11- فـلا يَـغُرَّنْكَ مـا مَنَّتْ وما وَعَدَتْ* * إنَّ الأمـانِـيَّ والأحْـلامَ تَـضْليلُ
Then you may not allow thyself to be deluded by her promise.
All hopes and dreams are just delusion. Be aware!
12- كـانَتْ مَـواعيدُ عُـرْقوبٍ لَها مَثَلا * * ومــا مَـواعِـيدُها إلاَّ الأبـاطيلُ
The promise of ((Argobe)) was so alike her approach.
Who never promises the truth but usually is liar.
13- أرْجـو وآمُـلُ أنْ تَـدْنو مَـوَدَّتُها* * ومـا أخال لَـدَيْنا مِـنْكِ تَـنْويلُ
I wish her cordiality will be provable how long.
But I think waiting this quality is in vain and wrong.
14- أمْـسَتْ سُـعادُ بِـأرْضٍ لا يُـبَلِّغُها* * إلاَّ الـعِتاقُ الـنَّجيباتُ الـمَراسِيلُ
Suaad was away at distant land never can be reached.
Only by quick mature of she- camel if someone wants.
15- ولَـــنْ يُـبَـلِّغَها إلاّ غُـذافِـرَةٌ * لـها عَـلَى الأيْـنِ إرْقـالٌ وتَبْغيلُ
Or only the great tolerant camel that does not knowing the languor at all.
That it is running between the high speed and the haste of the mule.
16- مِـنْ كُلِّ نَضَّاخَةِ الذِّفْرَى إذا عَرِقَتْ* * عُـرْضَتُها طـامِسُ الأعْلامِ مَجْهولُ
Of every one of those camels which sweats musk behind their ears.
The only one could march along to pass the unknown ways.
17- تَـرْمِي الـغُيوبَ بِعَيْنَيْ مُفْرَدٍ لَهِقٍ* * إذا تَـوَقَّـدَتِ الـحَـزَّازُ والـمِيلُ
Those camels of careful sight as if the white wary wild bull.
If they expect sever risks, they look carefully to be secure.
18- ضَـخْـمٌ مُـقَـلَّدُها فَـعْم مُـقَيَّدُها** فـي خَلْقِها عَنْ بَناتِ الفَحْلِ تَفْضيلُ
Those highbred animals of best characteristics exceed all.
Of tall neck and harden handcuff when stop.
19- غَـلْـباءُ وَجْـناءُ عَـلْكوم مُـذَكَّرْةٌ* * فــي دَفْـها سَـعَةٌ قُـدَّامَها مِـيلُ
Forerunner, widened check, wild, and has masculinity attribution.
Widened in its front shoulders gradually inclined forward.
20- وجِـلْـدُها مِـنْ أُطـومٍ لا يُـؤَيِّسُهُ**طَـلْحٌ بـضاحِيَةِ الـمَتْنَيْنِ مَهْزولُ
Its skin is as a shield of tortoise is alike.
Therefore its shoulders hardly could be hurt by acacia shrubs.
21- حَـرْفٌ أخـوها أبـوها مِن مُهَجَّنَةٍ* * * وعَـمُّـها خـالُها قَـوْداءُ شْـمِليلُ
It collects all of its better relatives inherited qualities.
Such as the swift running, long back, of a good ancestor she's.
22- يَـمْشي الـقُرادُ عَـليْها ثُـمَّ يُزْلِقُهُ* * * مِـنْـها لِـبانٌ وأقْـرابٌ زَهـالِيلُ
The ticks never could stop on its back.
Since its back is smooth and secretes slippery material.
23- عَـيْرانَةٌ قُذِفَتْ بالنَّحْضِ عَنْ عُرُضٍ* * * مِـرْفَقُها عَـنْ بَـناتِ الزُّورِ مَفْتولُ
It withdraws itself as a wild animal out of its herd fellows.
Removing its fat in how much runs, and then its flesh will be twisted.
24- كـأنَّـما فـاتَ عَـيْنَيْها ومَـذْبَحَها ** * مِـنْ خَـطْمِها ومِن الَّلحْيَيْنِ بِرْطيلُ
What beautiful is! Its rein when joined its neck and the tip of its nose.
That made from its face as a prominence of strong flint appearance. .
25- تَـمُرُّ مِـثْلَ عَسيبِ النَّخْلِ ذا خُصَلٍ** * فـي غـارِزٍ لَـمْ تُـخَوِّنْهُ الأحاليلُ
It has smart tail as if the stick of palm branches contains thick hairs.
When it passed, its udder appears healthy, never those nipples betray.
26- قَـنْواءُ فـي حَـرَّتَيْها لِـلْبَصيرِ بِها * ** عَـتَقٌ مُـبينٌ وفـي الخَدَّيْنِ تَسْهيلُ
This of auburn colour its ears looks alike.
It appears for an acquainted one, is of highbred, its check some flattened.
27- تُـخْدِي عَـلَى يَـسَراتٍ وهي لاحِقَةٌ *** ذَوابِــلٌ مَـسُّهُنَّ الأرضَ تَـحْليلُ
It walks on its stiff legs confidently when treading the earth calmly.
As if those legs never touch the ground due to its graceful movement.
28- سُمْرُ العَجاياتِ يَتْرُكْنَ الحَصَى زِيماً * ** لـم يَـقِهِنَّ رُؤوسَ الأُكْـمِ تَـنْعيلُ
Its stiff browny legs can spread the pebbles to be scattered.
Even if it doesn't wear shoe, but can tread on the peak of hillocks.
29- كــأنَّ أَوْبَ ذِراعَـيْها إذا عَـرِقَتْ * ** وقــد تَـلَـفَّعَ بـالكورِ الـعَساقيلُ
As if its legs smell out the odor of a wild mushroom when sweats.
Maybe touched this poisoned plant when wandering on its pastures.
30- يَـوْماً يَـظَلُّ به الحِرْباءُ مُصْطَخِداً* *** كـأنَّ ضـاحِيَهُ بـالشَّمْسِ مَـمْلولُ
The chameleon full- day will be having headache because of that odor.
As if that chameleon spent the forenoon on boredom.
31- وقـالَ لِـلْقوْمِ حـادِيهِمْ وقدْ جَعَلَتْ *** وُرْقَ الجَنادِبِ يَرْكُضْنَ الحَصَى قِيلُوا
Their cameleer said surely that odor annoying those young grasshoppers.
Until they felt the pebbles as something to eat, but lastly went to sleep.
32- شَـدَّ الـنَّهارِ ذِراعـا عَيْطَلٍ نَصِفٍ * ** قـامَـتْ فَـجاوَبَها نُـكْدٌ مَـثاكِيلُ
Although has strong body, but an inauspicious event cripples its legs.
Others who were lost their mothers sadly answer that camel… yes.
33- نَـوَّاحَةٌ رِخْـوَةُ الـضَّبْعَيْنِ لَيْسَ لَها*** لَـمَّا نَـعَى بِـكْرَها النَّاعونَ مَعْقولُ
That sad camel- mother eventually its hands become soft.
Due to it's crying upon her young son's dead.
34- تَـفْرِي الُّـلبانَ بِـكَفَّيْها ومَـدْرَعُها **مُـشَـقَّقٌ عَـنْ تَـراقيها رَعـابيلُ
Although that camel which its udder is cleft, and moreover lost its child.
But it donates the milk under these itself painful torn collarbones.
35- تَـسْعَى الـوُشاةُ جَـنابَيْها وقَـوْلُهُمُ ** إنَّـك يـا ابْـنَ أبـي سُلْمَى لَمَقْتولُ
The talebearers seek everywhere to hurt me.
Even they say without reservation thou (Zuhair) will be slain.

36- وقــالَ كُـلُّ خَـليلٍ كُـنْتُ آمُـلُهُ *** لا أُلْـهِيَنَّكَ إنِّـي عَـنْكَ مَـشْغولُ
Each friend I hope him to be truthful at ordeals and hardship days.
Dismisses his sight and says; I am busy for you not!
37- فَـقُـلْتُ خَـلُّوا سَـبيلِي لاَ أبـالَكُمُ *** فَـكُلُّ مـا قَـدَّرَ الـرَّحْمنُ مَفْعولُ
I reply for them let me go ahead to ask His pardon, what the matter is.
What mercy God predestines undoubtedly will run.

38- كُـلُّ ابْـنِ أُنْثَى وإنْ طالَتْ سَلامَتُهُ ** * يَـوْماً عـلى آلَـةٍ حَـدْباءَ مَحْمولُ
Every human even if he is healthy and strong.
On day shall be carried on the coffin to his tomb.
39- أُنْـبِـئْتُ أنَّ رَسُـولَ اللهِ أَوْعَـدَني* ** والـعَفْوُ عَـنْدَ رَسُـولِ اللهِ مَأْمُولُ
I am being told that prophet promises me.
His promise always is anticipated.
40- وقَـدْ أَتَـيْتُ رَسُـولَ اللهِ مُـعْتَذِراً * ** والـعُذْرُ عِـنْدَ رَسُـولِ اللهِ مَقْبولُ
Then I came to him to excuse about my slip.
However, what the matter is, there the excuse is not going wrong.
41- مَـهْلاً هَـداكَ الـذي أَعْطاكَ نافِلَةَ *** الْـقُرْآنِ فـيها مَـواعيظٌ وتَـفُصيلُ
Please! Take it easy; I suggest you are right thou prophet.
Since thy God gives you the Koran which includes any sermons.
42- لا تَـأْخُذَنِّي بِـأَقْوالِ الـوُشاة ولَـمْ ** * أُذْنِـبْ وقَـدْ كَـثُرَتْ فِـيَّ الأقاويلُ
Don't understand me wrong, however, the informers have said.
I didn't commit fault although the news related many stories.
43- لَـقَدْ أقْـومُ مَـقاماً لـو يَـقومُ بِـه *** أرَى وأَسْـمَعُ مـا لـم يَسْمَعِ الفيلُ
If I were standing on such place is possible to be standing hereinafter!
Then I could hear and see what the elephant couldn't do!
44- لَـظَلَّ يِـرْعُدُ إلاَّ أنْ يـكونَ لَهُ مِنَ *** الَّـرسُـولِ بِــإِذْنِ اللهِ تَـنْـويلُ
Then it would thunder in his speech as far as he could.
Until by the God willing! This prophet soon will reveal the ease.
45- حَـتَّى وَضَـعْتُ يَـميني لا أُنازِعُهُ *** فـي كَـفِّ ذِي نَـغَماتٍ قِيلُهُ القِيلُ
In which I swore not to recoil on my oath.
Not to be by those polyphonic captured whatever they said.
46- لَــذاكَ أَهْـيَبُ عِـنْدي إذْ أُكَـلِّمُهُ ** * وقـيـلَ إنَّـكَ مَـنْسوبٌ ومَـسْئُولُ
Thus I feel thy honor is true where I sit now.
It is said that you are truly prophet, responsible to thy mission.
47- مِـنْ خـادِرٍ مِنْ لُيوثِ الأُسْدِ مَسْكَنُهُ *** مِـنْ بَـطْنِ عَـثَّرَ غِيلٌ دونَهُ غيلُ
He is the strenuous and zealous as the lion protects his lair.
Invincible can't be reached between the thick jungles made his home.
48- يَـغْدو فَـيُلْحِمُ ضِـرْغامَيْنِ عَيْشُهُما ** * لَـحْمٌ مَـنَ الـقَوْمِ مَـعْفورٌ خَراديلُ
When he gets war he allows the wild beasts to eat until feed.
From those fragments flesh of enemy he killed there.
49- إِذا يُـسـاوِرُ قِـرْناً لا يَـحِلُّ لَـهُ ** * * أنْ يَـتْرُكَ الـقِرْنَ إلاَّ وهو مغلول
If he leaps upon someone is not the equal, he will not fight him.
Then that enemy will be captured by his virtue and honorable.
50- مِـنْهُ تَـظَلُّ سَـباعُ الـجَوِّ ضامرة* *** ولا تَـمَـشَّى بَـوادِيـهِ الأراجِـيلُ
Beasts of prey of the skies fear to fly near him even suffer hunger.
And none of others of earth could approach his valley.
51- ولا يَــزالُ بِـواديـهِ أخُـو ثِـقَةٍ **** مُـطَرَّحَ الـبَزِّ والـدَّرْسانِ مَأْكولُ
Still on his valley he who is violent and bold warrior slain there.
Torn clothes become the food of those beasts but not is he.
52- إنَّ الـرَّسُولَ لَـسَيْفٌ يُـسْتَضاءُ بِهِ ** * مُـهَنَّدٌ مِـنْ سُـيوفِ اللهِ مَـسْلُولُ
The prophet is as a sword as alike, who we protect by him.
One of the swords of God at anytime is unsheathed.
53- فـي فِـتْيَةٍ مِـنْ قُـريْشٍ قالَ قائِلُهُمْ *** بِـبَطْنِ مَـكَّةَ لَـمَّا أسْـلَمُوا زُولُوا
Some young men of (Kuresh) their sayer had said.
Who, they confess their Islam at once they were exiled.
54- زالُـوا فـمَا زالَ أَنْكاسٌ ولا كُشُفٌ *** * عِـنْـدَ الِّـلقاءِ ولا مِـيلٌ مَـعازيلُ
Yes, they immigrated to another homeland, but had never relapsed.
Neither are cowards when they met their enemy nor disunited.
55- شُــمُّ الـعَرانِينِ أبْـطالٌ لُـبوسُهُمْ *** مِـنْ نَـسْجِ دَاوُدَ في الهَيْجَا سَرابيلُ
I wish to kiss and knee to those champions of Islam.
In any conflict of war, they are as David powerful when wear his armor.
56- بِـيضٌ سَـوَابِغُ قـد شُكَّتْ لَهَا حَلَقٌ* *** كـأنَّـها حَـلَقُ الـقَفْعاءِ مَـجْدولُ
They were covered by that whiten armors of opened mouth.
Rusted not, hence were not taking off, but for battle made.
Almost are twisted as that desert plant of twisted thorns.

57- يَمْشونَ مَشْيَ الجِمالِ الزُّهْرِ يَعْصِمُهُمْ** ** ضَـرْبٌ إذا عَـرَّدَ الـسُّودُ التَّنابِيلُ
They walk as if the luminous camels as well as their religious are white.
While their opponents are dwarfs, black attitudes can't stand against.
58- لا يَـفْـرَحونَ إذا نَـالتْ رِمـاحُهُمُ ** * * قَـوْماً ولَـيْسوا مَـجازِيعاً إذا نِيلُوا
They never will be at rejoicing if their javelins caught something.
And never become worry when they are beaten at the battle.

59- لا يَـقَعُ الـطَّعْنُ إلاَّ فـي نُحورِهِمُ * * ومـا لَهُمْ عَنْ حِياضِ الموتِ تَهْليلُ
The stabbing only came at their front part, since they didn't retreat.
At any battle they fought, they never got along to escape death
