Khalid Ali how did this story ended, the dhulos were complaining about the gadhweyn welcoming the sacad muuse pilgrim to the shrine saying since they own the area it should have been them doing the invitations, while the gadhweyn argued it always have been their land.

We actually kicked them out from many areas. 20 years ago you could find many Dhulos in Dararweyne, Bohol, Bancade etc now you
won't see any. We have also planted Gadhweyn and constructed new villages in eastern Sanaag such as as Dhoob, Dhuur Madare,
Laas Qacable, Dumar Gaduudshe and many more.

I agree with the odeyga hore. I never heard of Ali Sheekh Isaxaaq. And the only time I have ever heard about Shariifo is recently.

Also, another myth that is recently heard is Habar Habuusho being a princess. Ahahaha Habuusho was Magaado's servant.

It happens in the world today that even Kings marry their servants, case in point Saudi King who married his Habesha servant who had King Fahad.

Sheikh isxaaq is around 800 to 900 years ago

The burden of proof is not on me, it's on people who believe in this fairy tale.

They have to proof the link between this man and his so called descendants without using the regurgitated and invalid oral 'history'. A similar case would be the non existing link between the modern day Jews and the ancient Jews of the Bible.

How do you reconcile your hatred of Arabs with your belief in this myth. It is a myth. Somalis are homogenous to the horn of Africa. No ethnic Somali descends from an Arab sheikh on a magic flying carpet. Whether Isaaq existed however is another question.

he did , and he did his research well. unlike you sitting on your butt and just making silly unqualified statement . I have listened to his lecture and he qualified his long research and cited first account of people who came to Mait and met sheikh isxaaq and quoted their manuscript. and let see your argument with sources contradicting him.

First of all, I do not have an ancestor called 'Solomadow'. It's allegedly a matrilineal alliance between 3 brothers. Can I prove that they existed? The answer is no..

Do I believe they existed? The anwer is no, it's probably a myth.

However the Isaaq clan and all its sub clans and sub sub clans are a social and political reality that one simply can't ignore.

Labadaa kala saara..

X.Playa,

There's no link whatsoever, between the man in question and his living 'descendants'.
