It's just a normal arabic name as Imran but Somalis call it Cibraan. Cibran as a clan name.

The Arabic is Cimraan , my guess is longevity. From the Somali/Arabic root coomir.

Cimraan is the name of the father of Maryam, mother of Issa/Jesus AS.
Cimraan descended from from Prophet Isreal/Jacobs/Yacoub and hence the name is of Banu Isreali origin.
The second Surra of the Quran is named after family of Ala Cimraan
