Muqdhishan citizens
Would you advise me for working with the Somali Federal gov? Or is it not worth it? If I were to work with the gov, would I be living in the compound areas and what is life like living there?
Is there anyway to hide my MJness from the Ministry I'm working for, and say qabilkeyga lima barin. Or should I claim Abgaal to be safe, what if they ask me my subclan and cousins, should I say all my family live abroad and I'm wacysle(claim parents born in Mudug).
Islamically is it wrong to work for the Gov if my intention is to do good for the ministry and the Somali people?
Could I live outside the compound and wear a macawiis and face covered with a cimamad when I'm out and about while wearing a suit in the ministry?

i want that job,how can i get it?
Re: Muqdhishan citizens
Why are you talking like the government is an abgaal dictatorship? You don't know they are ministers from all kind of clans? Do you think every governmental office is ran by an abgaal person? I don't think its a genuine question,it's a passive aggressive way to insinuate that you can't work for the government unless your abgaal which is bullshit. Edeb yeelo bilaa adab yahow.JamalAddow wrote:Would you advise me for working with the Somali Federal gov? Or is it not worth it? Thanks but no thanks. We all know Abgaal owns Mogadishu, nothing wrong with that, its ur city.Susu000 wrote:Why are you talking like the government is an abgaal dictatorship? But I'd like from the real Mogadishan citizens that actually have been there, not western ciyaal.

If you firmly believe that no one but abgaal can work there, then please keep quiet and go job hunting in Puntland.
You cant be a sheegato in xamar, If you are abgaal people will know instantly and if your not they'll know by the time you even finished saying " I'm abgaal" so save yourself the embarrassment saxiib.
Ps. I'm not an ciyaal I'm a grown woman with family so don't assume things you don't know shit about.
Re: Muqdhishan citizens
I actually know some mj and mx diaspora folks who do these jobs it's very dangerous for everyone but if your one of these guys it makes worse bc you will encounter some local guys in the same place who are after your job-could be that your in a better position-
One of them was getting constantly threatening anonymous text messages, he was hiding in a normal area until his contract come to an end then he never looked for another opportunity for his own safety
You can't afford hotels

If u r an MJ---u r committing suicide. They can smell one from a distant.
Re: Muqdhishan citizens
I think all abgaal speak the same accent. I wouldn't advise you to go to xamar bc with this risk you won't get all your wages there r bad agaasimeyaal who would take from you like $300JamalAddow wrote:Thanks for this Sahal. PL wages are low for a diaspora person but if you want magac you can start from there and then move to xamar hotels. In PL Agaasime/director wages $300...ministers $1000 per month

Re: Muqdhishan citizens
I always wonder why some ppl find the need to make up lies just to make themselves relevant.
Civil servants used to collect their salaries from the Central Bank. They had to physically show up inorder to collect their salaries. The Bank teller scans their thumbs via biometric system and then hands them their salaries.
That procedure changed two months ago. Now, the salaries of civil servants are automatically deposited in to their personal private accounts.
Director salary starts at $700.

As far as I know, there are about 4 or 5 Banks with Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT code) addresses operating in the city; Salaam Bank, International Bank of Somalia (IBS), Premier Bank, Trust African Bank.BlueBlood wrote:How many commercial banks exist/operate in xamar? do they have international banks or it is only local banks?TheblueNwhite wrote:I always wonder why some ppl find the need to make up lies just to make themselves relevant.

If you have an account in one these banks, you can wire money into your overseas Bank account.
