A member of Ethiopian rights commission has opened a case against the heads of Somali Kilil of Ethiopia at the International Criminal Court (The Hague).

According to an individual who has a copy of the report, the following has been filed of many things:

The cases are against;

1: Abdi Mohamud Omar, regional security head 2007-2011

2: Abdullahi Yusuf Weerar, regional security head 2011-2014

3: Abdi Aden Waris, militia head

4: Abdirahman Abdullahi Burale(laba Goale), militia head

5: Sheikh Muktar Subane, regional intellegence head



The commission has obtained records and reports as follows:

The Liyu police under Abdi Mohamud Omar (now president of Somali Kilil of Ethiopia), killed almost 10,000 people of mostly civilians from 2007 to 2015 (2016 files are yet to be updated).

The figure stands over; 9,300.

In terms of tribe/clan break down, it is as follows:

BAHGARI OGADEN: 473

ISAAQ DIR: 683

JAREER AND DUUBO HAWIYE: 986

RER ISAAQ OGADEN: 2113

RER ABDILE OGADEN: 1321

TOLOMOGE OGADEN: 378

AWLYAHAN OGADEN: 112

SHEEKHAAL HAWIYE: 1299

HABARGIDIR HAWIYE: 360

JIDWAAQ ABSAME: 569

MAKAHIL OGADEN: 1006

TOTAL: 9,300

The people who seen it or have the documents promised to send me a copy. Whether ICC will investigate is anyone's guess.

The federal gov itself has many more bloods on its own hands. It engineers all the policies in every direction and Liyu is their creation.

Bashar is wanted because of the Janjaweed and Liyu is Addis' janjaweed.


The guy that filed the case is said to have fled the country.

From my understanding only nations, and more specifically the UN security council, can refer cases to the ICC.
Furthermore, if anybody believes the ICC has anything to do with justice is deluded.
The ICC is a political tool of the western powers to pursue their interests in Africa.
Another point to consider is that the Liyu cannot be separated from the Govt in Addis.

The dacwo isn't from me nor is the list.

Everywhere Isaaq is laangaab they are Dir.

If these men are to be prosecuted so should the men of SNM in Somaliland

They should bring both Ethiopia and Liyuu to court.

ICC do like to harass African leaders but Ethiopia with US support ain't going no where.
