From what I heard it started because of a khaat war between dealers for territory.
When the death toll was around 4, maag was arranged, however, the deceased family members were unhappy with some of the camels offered.
The Qayaad changed the camels and as they returned the Baharsame decide to open up on them causing all hell to break loose.

Our old patriarch, Dhulbahante (Siciid Harti), was reported to have dalab. And the Somalis has a saying that the men with dalab are running with 3 legs
Thus, the word qurjiile came from there.
