That's what happens when you believe that he who dies on a certain date gets an automatic transfer to happiness for ever . You push that logic to its end and you might be doing those you kill on that same date a favor .

well its a bit confusing but I'll explain. saudi govn knew that pure wahabinims is coming back to bite them one day so they started a new form a wahabinisim called the jaami salafinisim (السلفيه الجاميه) where you have something like the churches back in France where they confiscated people's rights and freedom and accuse treason on anyone who demands it. thats whats in saudi now, scholars and ulama of saudi forbid protesting, demanding rights, insulting leaders or anything against them and support regimes inside saudi and outside(sunni regimes) however they dont support and condemn terrorism. both of these salafis dislike each other

Destroying those sites benefitted both visitors and the wealthiest moneyed Saudis to gain land for the erection of luxury development. It was a marriage of convenience between capital and Salafi teachings. A global pressure both from the Islamic and no-Islamic world has been exerted on the rulers of the Kingdom not to destroy the grave of the Prophet PBUH. Most of the "Jihadis" argue that in Salafi doctrine, not to destroy the grave is akin to 'shirk'. The Saudis counter claimed that the prophet's grave is exempted from destruction.

Ina Adeer, it was interesting to watch an open rebellion and declaration of war against the Saudi State and people by the guy in a Saudi TV studio inside Saudi Arabia. Does anyone know what happened to him after this interview? The House of Saud is divided on this issue and many powerful members of the royal family sympathise with the stance of the "jihadis" and others do have financial interests in destroying these sites. But the Funny thing was the end of the interview when the host of the program told Khaled, "You came from Jihad high on Hasheesh, oh Khaled. You have been happy for 10 years now."

Ina Adeer, the Salafi Somali scholars don't want to comment on this issue, as they do agree with the Salafi Doctrine of destroying of all kinds of tombs inside mosques including the Prophet's. If they do speak, they will be seen as supporting the "Jihadi" narrative over the neo-Salafi point of view and would be blacklisted by the Saudi authorities.
