I know this Ogayslabe/Warsangeli girl from Liverpool she has softer hair than Indians Lol. It is mainly reer Las Qoray (those who
settle on the coasts that are mixed with Indians) not all Warsans.

Ugaas Labe aren't Warsangeli they're just like the Carab Salaax among the Majeerteen, they're mixed communities who live among friendly clans. Ugaas Labe are originally Indian and Carab Salaax are a subclan of the Meheri people from the Mahra provinces of Yemen/Oman. The old guy talking is Colonel Maxamuud Indhayare who's full Warsangeli,Maxamuud Harti,Daarood.

Ogayslabe is a Indian clan. However a large percent of Warsangelis on the coast are also half Indians even the Garaad of Warsangelis
father was Indian.

the Warsangeli definitely intermarried with the Baaniyaals that used to come to the Somali coast to trade and sometimes settle but reer Berbera have shunned them and they simply joined the Midgo clans! It is basic logic. It is nothing to speculate about!

I like Warsangeli they are very noble and with a doubt the most civilised Somali clan! Sultan Mohamud Ali Shire the only Somali clanchief that was a real threat to the colonialist after the Dervish, he was also the brother inlaw of the Famous Sayid. He was jailed in exile in Sycheles alongside the Egytian Primeminister and king Ashanti of Ghana wher he fathered two children with a local woman! The Sultan was also the only Somali chief honored by the British Queen eventhou he never submitted to their overlordship. Thats a classical case of self respect

waxad sheegtay oo dhan waxba kama jiraan waa sheekooyinka Daaroodku makhaayadaa kaga faanaan, Maxamud Cali Shire horta soomaali maaha waa nin Hindi ah oo odayga Cali Shire ma dhalin ee islaan uu qabi jiray ayaa nin Hindi ah rimiyay kow dhe, that's matter of history. Now this resistance you ascribe to him is a fiction , yes the warsangali joined the Dervish around 1908 but by 1911 they were all out of the movement and the this Sultan was the most loyal sultan to the British crown , the British time an again saved his butt from the Dervish , first in 1911 during the Habar-Humbule rout , again around 1916 when the Dervish completely sacked las Qori and massacred all of the towns inhabitant the poor sultan fled in a small boat in a neck of time and later reached Aden , the British bombaredded the town till the Dervish had to withdrew , the Dervish were mostly Gadhweyn and were led by Ibraahim Buqul. When the port was liberated and the Dervish fled the poor sultan wrote a thank you letter to the British anti Slavery society , its was comical and bizarre. Around 1920 the British exiled him to an island requested by his own warsasngali people who got tired of his intrigue he was still loyal to the British crown until his death .

sheeko Daaroodka makhaayadaa iskaga maaweelisaan oo dameer kaste iyo tuug kaste ka dhigtaan halyeey "gaalo" necbaa is all a fiction.
