I don't see how Hillary could possibly win. As if the FBI ruling wasn't bad enough, surely the fallout from the Wikileaks emails will firmly shut the coffin with yet another nail.

So, what we saw in the UK post BREXIT was the racists feeling vindicated. There was a 57% increase in racist attacks. This is a country where carrying pepper spray is illegal and all political parties (even UKIP) unanimously and openly condemn such attacks and behaviour.

If there is a similar uptick in the land of free to carry a weapon (aka the right to kill each other), not to be a Debbie downer but...

I think Trump os not as bad he's been portrayed. The first time I heard the name "Bukhari" on TV was on this RNC convention He allowed Muslim prayers and Prophet Mohamed's (pbuh) name to reach millions and millions of American households live through all major TV networks. That guy from Muslims for Trump organization promoted Islam @ the most unlikely place

Trump isn't going to win.

He needs 70% of the white vote to win. Not happening.

He needs most white women to vote for him... that's not happening.

Hillary despite her baggage will have the majority of Bernie supporters... she's polling at above 60% with millenials. She might get 3/4s of Bernie supporters.

The electoral map is on the side of Hillary. She has the better path to get to the 270... in fact, she will probably win 300 electoral votes if her campaign doesn't mess up.

The issue will be turnout. She and Trump are deeply unpopular. Trump has the highest negatives of anyone who has ever ran for POTUS. Hillary is #2. Third party candidates like Gary Johnson and Jill Stein will ultimately hurt Trump more. Gary Johnson will get votes from disaffected Republicans who have seen Trump hijack their party. Jill Stein will be getting the Bernie supporters who can never vote for Hillary.

Trump has a shot but demographics and the electoral map are not in his favor. African Americans aren't voting for him (he polled at ZERO PERCENT in Ohio and Pennsylvania among blacks recently). He might get 15% of Latino Americans but that's not nearly enough. This tweet shows his problem and the GOP in general for running presidential campaigns:

IF he were to win, he'd likely be a one term president. He'd likely appoint a supreme court justice, he'd work with the Republican House and Senate to enact the biggest tax cut ever for the wealthy which would cost the government $9.5 trillion in revenues over 10 years and give the average person in the 1% a $1.25M tax cut. The deficit would go up $20 trillion, the most ever. The too big to fail banks would be completely deregulated, the financial sector would be way more of a wild wild west than it is now. You'd see a financial crisis worse than 2008 occurring in the next year or two. With Hillary, the next crisis would be kicked down the road. On other issues, he's at odds with both parties on immigration. Obamacare would probably be repealed, The federal minimum wage would be gone (people would work for $5 an hour).

The problem with America is that the Republicans have taken over most of the local and state legislatures around the country, they have most of the Governors, they control both houses of Congress. This is because of the Koch brothers hundreds of million dollars being funnelled to Tea Party and other candidates. The Democrats are slaves to the big money and abandoned the grass roots movements like Occupy and now the Progressive base that Bernie Sanders has awoken in this cycle. But without activism at the local level, most of the country will remain backwaters.

The neocons are supporting her because they are salivating over a showdown over Syria. But the ship has sailed for implementing a No Fly Zone in Northern Syria at the Turkish border. Obama rejected that in 2012 when she was his Secretary of State.

But Russia controls the skies and Turkey is re-aligning its foreign policy making nice with Israel, Russia, Syria, and Iran which is spooking the Pentagon.

The push by NATO into Eastern Europe and supporting Ukraine with weapons could be a catalyst for a nuclear confrontation though.

The neocons in the beltway just are always looking towards the next war.

Hillary sucks but we will be calling her Madame President in no time. The thing that everyone knows but isn't really talking about is that Donald Trump has no campaign structure whatsoever, and is desperate for cash. You need people working the streets, registering voters, analytics identifying your voters, getting people to turn out the vote. It's no good if you have supporters and they don't vote for you. Second it doesn't matter if Trump gets all of Alabama or Georgia or Wyoming or Indiana, because those were going to go to you. You need to win in battle ground states like Ohio, Florida, and for Donald Pennsylvania that hasn't gone republican in decades. But to win states like those you have to be organized and Moderate. Those are also states with huge minority populations. Donald as a republican already has an uphill battle, but then you add that you have to have money and a campaign on the ground, you know he is screwed.


In the next coming weeks you will begin to see the biggest organized public campaign against Donald Trump. This will only get bigger and bigger. And the media will stop taking it easy on this guy. This is an existential threat to a popular President Obama, the Democratic Party, the establishment, influential liberals including Hollywood, business elites, you name it. This will be nothing like Republican primaries where his adversaries were afraid to go after him. You have just witnessed the highest point of his political career. Watch the attacks, it will be vicious and non stop, not to mention entertaining.

Yup. This isn't the GOP Primary season anymore. But..

Hillary is a terrible campaigner and that's the one wild card in this IMO.

She will have Obama, Biden, Bernie, Liz Warren, her husband campaigning for her and/or against Trump all over the country. Right now, she's leading in all battleground states but Trump is within the margin of error without any type of organization on the ground.

I don't think Trump even wants to be POTUS. His campaign operation is lazy as hell. But if Hillary can't sustain the convention bump after this week, it's going to be unnecessarily difficult.

The presidency SHOULD be decided by 11 PM EST on election night after the polls close on the West Coast.

Exactly why they are all going to campaign for her. This going to be more about a NeverTrump than ImWithHer. She has the black vote and now with a Spanish speaking Vice President that is locked up and since he a moderate white than she will get those. I think it will be a landslide tbh. Trump can't even pivot to the middle because the middle isn't wild about him.
