MashaAllah! It's amazing really, you see those roads being swept, rubbish being collected etc. Please walking around late into the evening. Ilaahey amaanka hanoo siyaadiyo, amin

What all Somali communities need are local councils so neighbourhoods can organise themselves and take ownership over their roads, amenities and safety

You think winning the hand (in marriage) of the single most important female personage of the noble HAG nation is going to be that easy? Think again, son!

I am sure the HAG cuqaal led by generalissimo AW, along with his aide de camp BW, and the spiritual leader and grand mufti of this sect, Shiekh Haywire, are all ready and willing to dully consider your wish to become a worthy suitor to principessa BV, provided, of course, you forward a certificate of authenticity as to your claim that you are indeed extracted from the same noble qabiil.

Great initiative from the people and from bottom-up they could own their projects and not imposed on them.

These kind of solar cookers should be introduced nation wide and save cutting the few remaining trees.

bender bayla, the world's first solar cooker village.

Solar cookers are inexpensive and simple to make: Most require only cardboard, foil and a pot.
