The Somali guy was middle aged and out of shape, whereas the Habashi was younger and by the looks of it in good physical shape. It was not a fair fight by any means, and the guy had his wife and kid with him, who does that?

Many years ago, there was a story of some Somali guy who got knocked out by some African man in a park in Norway in front of his wife and her sister. I think it was some cadcad dude. After he passed out, he urinated on himself and the paramedics refused to help him. It was a big story because of how racist the paramedics were.

If I was there, I would have likely gotten involved backing up the Somali guy.

It is well known in Addis Ababa that Somalis never stick up for each other, so the Habesha gangs take advantage of that by beating us up in gangs or just bullying every Somali they can get their hands on.

On the other hand, all the Habesha seem to have extreme fear of Gambellans (those tall dark South Sudanese peeps), and even 1 of them is enough to scare the life out of a group of Habesha in a gang.

I was relayed a story some few years back about a habesha gangster taking a Somali kids football boots and proceeding to beat him up. The Somali kid was backed up by a Gambellan man that witnessed the injustice, which inevitably lead to the reprobate Habesha gang leaving the Somali kid alone. He had to escort him to the bus stop just to save him from their violence, at the same time a group of Somalis were looking on helpless
