I've noticed there are alot of man made ponds and small lakes in a stretch from Wajaale - Allaybaday to Faraweyne, when was these dug, very beautiful places, crafty people

Horta do any of these farms in Somaliland mass produce crops? I've seen many pictures of farms, but do the owners actually get rich from these farms or is it just for sustainability?
