In this case, it's been more than a century actually.
All nations have gone through similar periods. There are going to be huge shifts in global power dynamics in the coming 50-100 years which could create a vacuum where colonised nations could reassert themselves and define their own future. The question is: will we be in a position to take advantage of this?
Somalis are too busy with this nonsense to be thinking off the wider problem Rag.

We have an upcoming court case with the Kikuyu regarding our maritime territorial waters, they knew that we're in weakened position and are clearly taking advantage of us. Why wouldn't they?
Right now Africa is facing a neo-colonial phase, Turks and the French are clearly still interested in the region. The Portuguese are returning back to Angola/Mozambique due to the Euro crisis and now we have Han Chinese in Africa (do remember that they had a presence back in Early Ming Dynasty).
When will the Somali wake up and kick these terrorists/corrupt scum of our lands?
