I passed through the city last time I went back home (drove from Gaalkacayo). It looked really nice, beautiful houses. Nice roads.

I like how peaceful Garowe is, when I was there for holiday a couple years back, I did not hear 1 gunshot the entire time. Masha Allah!

I drove all the way from Bosaso down through all the major cities and towns in Puntland. It was a great journey and soon to be replicated Inshaa Allaah once again.

This time I might check out Hargeisa and even head down to Mogadishu.

LOL wtf, that's no big deal. You won't hear gunshots in PL in general. You must be from Xamar or some shit

Raganimo are you impolitely asking for my qabiil? Well in that case, I am Majeerteen so there you go.

Gunshots, bombs and general madness can erupt in any Somali territory, and you know that is true. You are coming across as a kid that was sheltered from the civil war and following.

I spent a day over in Garowe last year

We were on our way to Bosaso and stopped at Garowe cause Bosaso didnt have an airport back then last year

I dont remember much but we stayed at a decent hotel named tawfiq place was quite no hustling or bustling over all I liked it more than Bosaso

Not to say that Bosaso was bad honestly i stayed hawled up in my room at Juba hotel cause the weather was hot but i went through my neighborhood its funny how when they asked for where im from and who im kin to

They'd guess my entire family line for me

God i miss Bosaso i wanna go back there again and I definitely want a proper stay at Garowe

I dont know if its me but the weather in Garowe was lit

Garowe and most of PL have been peaceful since the late 90's. I wasn't trying to disrespect so apologies if my post came across that way.

No offence saxiib

During my stay in Gaalkacyo back in 2003, I often heard gunshots and skirmishes here and there. Once we drove from Gaalkacyo to Beyra, Bursaalax and other local settlements. During the drive we were stopped by a camel herding nomad running in our direction. The driver and everyone else in the car jumped to attention, only to realise that he was a relative saying hello
