The Falasha or Beta-Israelis are predominantly Agews and parts of their historical land includes what the TPLF wants to annex.

Now we have Agews (Christians, Muslims, Jews), Amhara (all faiths), Oromo (all faiths) joining forces on the streets but have not yet taken up a joint-armed front.
The US gov is already changing its position slowly and PM Desalegn insisted the US was no long relevant.
The only thing that remains unknown is how long the TPLF will hang on to power.
Meanwhile G7 is not doing much activities. It has been solely a local movement.

why do major countries have more interests in ethiopia and are more willing to help it become peaceful, united, developed etc than say somalia
