The Somali music is corrupting the mind of Somali youth and society in general and needs to be outlawed.

Have you ever seen one Somali singer whose life is not screwed up? Folks, we need to discuss the devastating effects of the Somali music, and men women shaking their booty in public.

How much did she charge? Not that I would need, just out of interest.

Shame on you sxb. You are trying to destroy our Somali culture. Somali music is one of the few things that brings Somali people together. Dagaal ayaad kula jirtaa dhaqanka Soomaaliyeed. You want to replace it with Arabism.

Gegiroor pay homage to Somali music

There are few things as pleasing to the ear as good Somali music. Althought music is one of few expressive arts in Somali society, it is a combination of our best arts. Somali music, when it is good, is unlike any other music.

The lyrics are high art in themselves. Produced by work that can only be described as wordsmithery. Always poignant, profound and compelling - fantastically conveying stories, concepts and situations in a captivating way. Always masterfully incorporating a seemingly limitless array of the Somali vocabulary. Yet, always dignified and entirely unobjectionable. It is poetry, it is storytelling, it is artistry.

Now, the music. Oh, what music. Rythmic in a way that moves the body. Melodic in a manner that carries the soul. Unique and eclectic to a extent that enchants the ears.

May it last, forever more. Aamiin!

:blessed: :dj: :stylin:

I think it was 2000 for maybe 3 people. She has her helpers. This one guy was actually very good but unknown. Hope someone saw his talents.
