puntland fields heavy weight politicians for the aqalka sare (senate)

Post by BarreLoyalist0 »

Puntland has forwarded the list of politicians who will represent Puntland in the senate ( aqalka sare) among the list forwarded are political Heavy weights such as faroole , general morgan , CCC, mohamed abdi xaabsade and general abdulahi siciid samatar. the senate is seen as important by Puntland as it has sole or specific Powers granted to it since somalia is presidential system and not a parliamentary system where the lower house has more Powers than upper house (senate). such Powers may include impeachment of executive officials or it may give advice and consent on the appointments of judges and ambassadors therefore Puntland brought strong candidates to represent them.

muse suudi and indhocade will not make the cut as they have no high school diploma which is a required qualification for candidacy

Barre, let me ask u a question, tell me what you think about the way puntland distributed the 11 seats on the upper house?

Do you think it's fair?

i would say it was not fair but i Think the interest of Puntland comes Before the interests of clanism.... nevertheless i must admit that abdiweli gaas is playing with fire by giving 3 seats to maxamud salebaan while other mjs like reer bicidyahan, dhanweyne or wabeneye got no seats but maybe they will be compensated on the parliament..so lets wait and see

during kacaan times the elites in the military who were educated were sent to elite military Academys in russia italy and usa mostly... this meant one had to be speaking English or italian in order to be selected to be among those sent to the elite Academys.. and morgan excelled in his high school education as he had done in military education too

Tnx for seeing my point, economically these undermined clans contribute much more yet they are overlooked, if this blatant injustice carries how long do you think it will take until they make thier own way or just take their money elsewhere because it only loyalty and tolnimo that's keeping them there now
