Berbera cement factory revival

Post by AwRastaale »

This topic is one of those that doesn't go away nor move forward but there is hope as usual.

The cement plant could be revived and talks have broken an early deal between three groups;

1) SL investors
2) Dahabshiil
3) A Kuwaiti investor

Rumour says the cement factory would be up and running. There would be 3 main shareholders
1. Dahabshiil
2. The Kuwaiti investor, who owns the huge farm in sheikh
3. The somali millionaire lady from Uganda

It's really really positive news that amina moghe is involved this project. She knows how to run the cement industry.

I don't see the problem why this project cant be implemented , Ciise Muuse iyo Sacad Muuse miyaa laga baqanayaa??? for 26 years this simple project couldn't be implemented because of tribal reasons , did Amina Waris vowed no to give Siilaanyyo ceeb if he uses force against the clannish habar awal who claim they even own rocks and mountains??? I don't see the leverage these guys hold over Somaliland's government.

Talking like this is why you're in the wilderness.

I would not advise Amina Hersi Moghe to invest many millions in Berbera, the place always has boiling clan tensions and can blow
up anytime. Perhaps Maydh is better option far away and out of reach. :up:

Not sure sxb.

I assume millions.

I doubt it will be a public company. Neither Dahabshiil nor Amina Hersi have history of public offering.
