Waiting for khutbah, looking around and you realize the brother who used to sit at the corner no longer in this world. You look at the front line and the brother who always greeted everyone around him with a smile on his face no longer here in this world. You ask yourself how they would love to have more time to add to their good deeds. Then you realize you are still here and asking yourself, am I doing enough to make use of my time.
Time isn't on our side

Re: What matters
Walahi this is so true! Yesterday I was told about a brother who died in his sleep. I was thinking how I go bed thinking dunya every night and what if the last thing on my mind is dunya when I die

Re: What matters
A young, healthy Somali brother recently got a stroke out of the blue. He lived on his own and lay at home for three days before he was discovered. He died shortly thereafter.
Another guy whom I knew from back in the day recently got stabbed through the heart. Apparently he is brain-dead now and his family are going to turn off the respirator any minute. His wife is pregnant and is due to give birth to their first daughter in two weeks.
Life is short indeed. We need to stop wasting it on frivolities.
Thanks for the reminder bro

We live in a temporary world, realise that your true 'bed' is the very earth itself. May Allah forgive us for our misdeeds and grant us jannah for us and our loved ones, amiin.
